Youth Squad
(Explorer Post 325)

Explorer Post 325 is a co-ed division of the Boy Scouts of America.  Boys and Girls ages 14-21 may join.

The mission of Explorer Post 325 is to educate the youth group in the skills and knowledge of the Emergency Medical Services.  They are taught Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and many first aid skills. They follow a curriculum similar to that of the New York State First Responder. They engage in community events and at the age of 16 they can begin riding on the ambulance and answering 911 calls with a trained crew mentoring them.

Many current members of Brentwood Ambulance began their volunteerism in the Brentwood Ambulance Explorer Post 325.
