About Us

Brentwood Legion Ambulance has been proudly serving the communities of Brentwood, North Bay Shore, Baywood and Edgewood since 1959.  Our district is approximately 25 square miles and has areas ranging from residential to retail to heavy industry.

There are several points of interest in our district including the Pilgrim State Psychiatric Center, The Grant Campus of Suffolk County Community College and the CW Post Campus of Long Island University.  The Entenmann’s Bakery facility, ADP/Broadridge, Suffolk Police Department’s Third Precinct and Police Academy, NYS Troopers Troop L Barracks and the Brentwood Public School District all call the area of our district home.

Interstate 495 (Long Island Expressway) as well as the Sagtikos State Parkway and the Southern State Parkway all run through our district.  The Long Island Railroad’s Main Line runs through the center of our district and we provide coverage for both the Deer Park and Brentwood Train Stations.

We are a NYS certified ambulance company which provides Emergency Ambulance Service twenty-four hours a day, sevens days a week to the level of Paramedic.  We regularly receive over 6, 000 calls per year and are the busiest ambulance service in Suffolk County.
